Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Cauliflower
Wash the cauliflower thoroughly under cold water. Pat it completely dry using paper towels. Cut it into evenly sized bite-sized florets to ensure even cooking.
Step 2: Season the Coating
In a large bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until evenly blended.
Step 3: Coat the Cauliflower
Drizzle the cauliflower florets with olive oil and toss until lightly coated.
Add the florets to the seasoned flour mixture and toss until every piece is coated evenly.
Sprinkle in the panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese. Toss again until the coating sticks well to the cauliflower.
Step 4: Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
Step 5: Air Fry
Arrange the cauliflower in a single layer inside the basket. Avoid overcrowding so hot air can circulate properly.
Cook for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
The cauliflower is ready when it becomes golden brown, crispy on the outside, and fork-tender inside.
Step 6: Serve
Transfer the crispy cauliflower to a serving plate.
Garnish with chopped parsley, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Tips for Perfect Crispy Cauliflower
- Dry the cauliflower thoroughly before seasoning.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Shake the basket halfway through cooking.
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
- Spray lightly with cooking oil before air frying.
- Serve immediately for maximum crispiness.
Storage Instructions
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
To reheat, place the cauliflower back into the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes until crispy again.
Freezing is not recommended, as the coating may lose its crisp texture after thawing.
